Cordura ( Dupont ) - Tear and abrasion resistant. Heat resistant ( melting point = 210 degrees C ). In comparison to standard nylon, cordura is 3 times more abrasion resistant.

Tactel (Dupont) - 100% polyamide fabric is very popular due to its dynamic versitile qualities. Its light and soft and abrasion resistant. It's also breathable and suitable for all weather conditions.

Kevlar (Dupont) -One of the strongest materials available. Woven from aramide and nylon fibres. It's melting point is 405 degrees C. Pound for pound kevlar is five times stronger than steel.

Lycra (Dupont) - An aerodynamic lightweight fibre, made from 82% polyamide and 18% elastan. This fibre has a high degree of stretch and recovery.

Dynamic ( Schoeller ) - Versatile high comfort level material. Very high melting point of 290 degrees Celcius.

Keprotec ( Schoeller ) - Made from various materials including Kevlar. Combination of filaments provides a very high level of tear and abrasion resistance.

Lorica - Microfibre material similar to natural leather. Lorica is not as strong as leather, but its softer and lighter. Fabric requires little maintenance.

Pittards Amortan - Chamois leather specifically treated to create maximum strength, 3 times stronger than standard chamois. Soft, flexabile and breathable. Often used on high quality gloves.

Thermolite plus - High quality medium loft, thermal lining fabric that keeps the rider warm.

PCM (schoeller) - Keeps the motorcyclist in the temperature comfort zone. Actively reacts to temperature changes. This process is made possible due to micocapsules filled with paraffin.

Teflon ( Dupont ) - Protective layer on the outside of the fabric that protects it from dirt and stains. Water simply glides off and any soiling is easy to clean.

Hipora - Water resistant, breathable polyurethane laminate. This micro porous laminate can repel water droplets. Hipora allows moisture to escape from the body.
